An Interview With M. Kristine

  1. What inspired you to write your book?

I am currently writing my first book. I have always wanted to be a writer and have been inspired by many authors over the years. My current book is book 1 in at least a 4 part series, but may be more.

  1. Who is your favourite character from your book(s)?

I don’t have a favorite character yet

  1. Is there an underlying theme?

This series is an MC romance. I would like to stay in the romance genre

  1. What motivated you to become an author?

As I said earlier, I have always wanted to write. Now that I am older, I have found that my creativity has flourished and now I have the opportunity to put that to paper.

  1. What inspires you to to get out of bed each day?

My children and my grandson that is due to arrive any day now

  1. When you’re not writing, how do you spend your time?

I have a full time job, so writing is done in my spare time. Other than that I enjoy spending time with my family

  1. How do you discover the ebooks you read?

Many time by word of mouth or word of technology (lol). I find many of my books on Facebook and the many groups I am a member of

  1. What is your writing process?

Since I am new to this, I have put all of my ideas to paper first. Then once I have an idea of the characters, story line etc, I start to write. I let the characters guide me and I have found that my storyline has changed a few times already.

  1. Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?

I don’t, but I know I was exposed to reading from a young age. My great grandma read to me all the time when I was small and I have always had a love of reading.

  1. Describe your desk.

Right now, it is my kitchen table, lol. I recently moved and haven’t had a chance to get my desk situated yet

  1. Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?

I grew up in a small town in eastern Ohio. Being a shy kid and having few friends, I spent time reading and found that I had quite the imagination as a child. As I grew, my creativity diminished for many years, but I can say I am glad it has come back and I am excited to be writing.

  1. When did you first start writing?

About a year ago. I started to dabble, but the past 3 months I have really been spending as much time as possible.

  1. What else have you got planned?

I will finish this series, how ever many books that contains. After that I am not sure

  1. What’s the story behind your latest book?

It is about an outlaw MC. The female is a victim of child rape after her mother was murdered. His current problems and her past collide.

  1. Do you have any bizarre writing habits?

No

  1. What was the hardest part of writing your book?

Getting all of my thoughts to words. It makes sense in my head but sometime it doesn’t make sense on paper.

  1. What is the biggest thing that people THINK they know about your genre?

That its just sex. But there is always a story to be told and heard. That’s what I enjoy, the story

  1. What is your reading format of choice?

Ebooks. I love my kindle

  1. How do you make time to write?

I write when I feel it. I cant write if I don’t feel like the characters are talking to me, if that makes sense

  1. What do you like to read?

I love romance of any kind! Paranormal, MC, BDSM…if its got romance, I am all for it!

  1. Any ideas for future projects?

I do plan to continue writing. I suppose we will see what comes about.
